SUMMARY:December Gallery Night with TC3 Art Department
DESCRIPTION:We Found the Time\nA TC3 Faculty + Student Showcase at the Grayhaven Motel\nArt made between everything else. \nWe Found the Time highlights the creative work of TC3 faculty and students who continue to make art alongside the many demands of everyday life. The exhibition explores what it means to sustain a creative practice within the spaces between teaching\, learning\, working\, and living. \nThe show celebrates the moments stolen between classes\, jobs\, and long to-do lists\, where making something just for the sake of it still mattered. Across a range of materials and perspectives\, these works reveal the persistence of creativity and the ways it can ground us\, connect us\, and help us make sense of the world\, when we can find the time. \nThis program is made possible in part with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant program from the New York State Council on the Arts\, with the support of the office of the Governor and NYS Legislature\, administered by the Community Arts Partnership of Tompkins County.
